The education pages of this website are an accessory to my résumé , and they are mainly meant for employers looking for additional references, writing samples, and information. To briefly introduce the academic side of myself, I am currently a full-time student at Cal Poly Pomona, and plan to finish my post-graduate work in Rhetoric & Composition with an emphasis in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). I graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in English Education, my emphasis in Creative Writing, and a minor in Anthropology. I have always taken an interest in writing and teaching writing since childhood, which brings me great pleasure to be pursuing this particular field of study. I enjoy working one-on-one with students in English-related studies; however, I also teach most high school and middle school subjects. I have worked three years for the Rowland Unified School District in the AVID tutoring program for both high school and middle school levels. I also work as a private tutor.
